The Eaglecrest Ski Area is seeking qualified applicants for Ski Area General Manager. The General Manager oversees daily operations, maintains financial accountability, creates innovative strategic plans, and is responsible for developing and maintaining positive community relationships for the publicly owned ski area. The General Manager reports to a Board of Directors appointed by the City & Borough of Juneau Assembly.
The successful candidate will have excellent high level Management experience and the ability to lead and work with a team. The candidate should have a solid background in finance; experience with long range and strategic planning and the ability to work the city assembly, community organizations, media, and the general public. Five (5) years’ experience in the ski industry, with senior management experience is preferred.
