SAM Magazine--Telluride, Colo., April 23, 2004--Telluride Ski & Golf Resort has named Raymond Jacobi as the company's new chief executive officer (CEO).

Jacobi will oversee all aspects of resort operations, sales, marketing and management as well as the overall growth and development of properties recently purchased by the resort's new majority owners, Chuck and Chad Horning.

Jacobi has more than 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently serving as chief operating officer of Rosewood Hotels and Resorts. He has also served as COO of the Ian Schrager Hotels based in New York City and was an area director for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, including the St. Regis in Aspen, among other executive positions.

"We are continuing our emphasis on providing and enhancing the overall guest experience," said Chad Horning.
