SAM Magazine-Newry, Maine, Oct. 26, 2010- In the wake of the SANY and NWSS fall workshops, the two groups and NSAA are planning an expanded agenda for 2011 over an eight-day stretch that, for the two events, is one day shorter.

In a key and expected change, the NWSS will return to a more conventional trade show format after this year's experimental hall format drew a lukewarm (at best) response. Sources assure SAM that the seminar and workshop schedule will extend beyond the NSAA's risk-oriented Fall Education Seminars of recent years to address other issues. Actual topics will focus on the key and pressing concerns of the moment.

The coming year marks the 20th anniversary of the New England Winter Sports Summit, Sept. 14-16, at Sunday River. It will include a central tradeshow floor plan in the Grand Ball Room.

The SANY/PSAA Expo Sept. 19-21 will mark its 30th anniversary in the new Lake Placid Conference Center, a state-of-the-art facility scheduled to open next spring.
