SAM Magazine-Squaw Valley, Calif., Sept. 21, 2007-A trenched superpipe headlines terrain park improvements at Squaw Valley for the 2007-2008 season. The in-ground pipe will be lit for nighttime pipe riding, making it the only illuminated pipe in the Lake Tahoe area. The pipe was constructed on the site of the resort's original trenched pipe to reduce environmental impacts, and will be complemented by additional snowmaking.
