SAM Magazine-Snow Park, New Zealand, June 25, 2008-In a scenario which will be familiar to some Northern Hemisphere resort operators, the 2008 season Down Under has been delayed due to unseasonably warm weather. Snow Park, New Zealand's only dedicated terrain park resort, was scheduled to open on June 18, but had to delay operations, as did The Remarkables. However, a storm and the return of colder temperatures earlier this week dramatically changed conditions, and many resorts are now open or primed to do so soon. The storm was the first in a series expected to bring cold and snow to southern New Zealand throughout the week. \
