SAM Magazine--November 6, 2009--Intrawest today announced a leadership change at Mont Tremblant in Quebec. Charles Massicotte, president and COO, has tendered his resignation and will leave Intrawest on November 19, 2009, to pursue a new career opportunity.

"Charles is a dynamic leader and his contributions have been instrumental to the success of Tremblant," said Bill Jensen, chief executive officer at Intrawest. "We thank Charles for his leadership and wish him the best in his future career."

Intrawest has begun the recruitment process to find a new president and COO for Tremblant and the company expects to fill the position in the near future. To assist in the transition, Roger McCarthy has been appointed as the interim leader at Tremblant and will oversee all aspects of resort operations as Tremblant prepares for the upcoming winter season. McCarthy is a 30-year veteran in the ski industry and he previously served as resort chief at Tremblant when Intrawest first acquired and developed the resort in the mid 1990s. In this interim role, McCarthy will report directly to Bill Jensen, Intrawest's CEO.
