SAM Magazine-Whistler, B.C., May 7, 2010-Whistler Blackcomb took the top spot in onthesnow.com's annual Visitor's Choice awards. This is the second time in the past three years that Whistler Blackcomb has topped the list.

Onthesnow.com gives visitors the opportunity to write reviews of North American resorts and rank them in five categories: favorite resort, best nightlife, most family-friendly, best downhill terrain and best terrain park. The ratings were based primarily on readers' average ranking, number of reviews, and specific comments made in OnTheSnow.com over the winter season.

"The reviews posted to Onthesnow.com really speak to the total mountain experience that Whistler Blackcomb offers," said Stuart Rempel, senior VP of marketing and sales for Whistler Blackcomb. This past year Whistler Blackcomb had its second-best season for snowfall and, not incidentally, hosted the Alpine events of the Winter Olympics.
