SAM Magazine-Woodbury, Conn., Feb. 1, 2011-Cutter's Camp has opened registration for both of this year's sessions, at Mount Snow, Vt., April 4-8 and Timberline, Mt. Hood, Ore., May 9-13. Space will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is processed on SAM's website at www.cutterscamp.com

For the past eight years, Cutter's Camp has created an open dialogue on freestyle terrain and provided a resource where frontline employees can get together and discuss park safety, risk management, design, construction, operations and management. A big part of Cutter's has always been the sharing of information between the 50-plus resorts at each location. The Camp is based on the belief that, whatever a resort's budget, equipment, or snow conditions, the key to a safe and successful park is to have knowledgeable, well-trained staff.

The Camp at Timberline Lodge offers a one-of-a-kind location on Mt. Hood, open year-round with a team committed to being on the cutting edge of freestyle terrain development. The Camp at Mount Snow/Carinthia offers a central northeast location with the same level of dedication to freestyle terrain. The Mount Snow Camp will use Carinthia's five parks, superpipe, extensive snowmaking and machinery to guarantee a quality program both on and off the hill.

Sponsors of this year's Camp include Bag Jump Action Sports, Burton, HKD Snowmakers, PistenBully, Prinoth, Skull Candy, Spy Optic and Wells Fargo Special Risks. \
