SAM Magazine-McLean, Va., May 26, 2011-SnowSports Industries America (SIA) has retained Reese Brown and his company, RDB Marketing & Event Services, as Nordic program director. Under the agreement, Brown will manage SIA's Winter Trails program and the SIA Snow Show's Nordic On-Snow Demo.

The relationship is not a new one. For the past nine years, RDB has managed Winter Trails Day an introductory program that introduces consumers to snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

In his expanded position, Reese will assist SIA in increasing its focus on the Nordic community by growing existing programs and developing new opportunities.

"I'm excited that Reese Brown has joined the SIA Nordic team. I'm confident his enthusiasm and attention to detail will help all of us drive the cross country business," says Steve Kvinlaug, president of sales for Alpina and chairman of the SIA Nordic Committee.
