Push to The Latest: No
SAM Magazine-Denver, Nov. 3, 2011-In the latest variation on the multi-area ticket, Aspen/Snowmass, Steamboat and Winter Park have unveiled a new Colorado Triple Play pass, good for two days at each of the three resorts during the 2011-12 season. Cost is $299 for adults, $249 for children 12 and under. The passes go on sale Nov. 4 at the Colorado Ski Expo in Denver; online at www.ColoradoTriplePlay.com; and, at participating Colorado Front Range Christy Sports stores.

Colorado Triple Play pass holders gain access to nearly 10,000 acres, more than 70 lifts, 13 terrain parks, and almost 15,000 vertical feet. All three areas are scheduled to open in the next three weeks-Nov. 16 for Winter Park, Nov. 23 for Steamboat, and Nov. 24 for Aspen.

A joint statement by the three areas noted that all received abundant and consistent snowfall last season. "Another La Nina snow year is in the works," added Rob Perlman, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Steamboat.

There are exceptions, a few provisos, and a couple of quid pro quos. Passes may only be purchased in person during the Colorado Ski Expo, at participating Front Range Christy Sports stores, or online at www.ColoradoTriplePlay.com. Passes must be purchased seven days in advance of the first day of use, and are not available for purchase on-site at resorts. Passes are nontransferable, cannot be combined with other offers, and include a blackout period of Dec. 27-31.
