Push to The Latest: No
SAM Magazine-Woodbury, Conn., Jan. 18, 2012-Terrain parks have come a long way over the past decade and Cutter's Camp has been at the forefront of this movement by creating a program where best practices are shared, technology discussed, and ideas exchanged. But freestyle terrain is ever-changing and improving, so we still have much to discuss. To that end, Cutter's Camp has opened registration for both of this year's sessions, at Mount Snow, Vt., April 2-6, and Timberline, Mt. Hood, Ore., May 14-18. Space will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is processed on SAM's website at www.cutterscamp.com

For the past ten years, Cutter's Camp has created an open dialogue on freestyle terrain and provided a resource where terrain park managers and staff can get together and discuss park safety, risk management, design, construction, machinery, marketing, events, operations and management. A big part of Cutter's has always been the sharing of information between resorts from around the world. The Camp is based on the belief that, whatever a resort's budget, equipment, or snow conditions, the key to a safe and successful park is to have knowledgeable, informed and well-trained staff.

The Camp at Timberline Lodge offers a one-of-a-kind location on Mt. Hood, open year-round with a team committed to being on the cutting edge of freestyle terrain development. The Camp at Mount Snow/Carinthia offers a central northeast location with the same level of dedication to freestyle terrain. The Mount Snow Camp will use Carinthia's five parks, superpipe, extensive snowmaking and machinery to guarantee a quality program both on and off the hill.
