First up, The Mountain Collective added three resorts to its 2013/14 offering: Mammoth Mountain, Snowbird and Whistler/Blackcomb. The Collective was created last year when Alta, Aspen/Snowmass, Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows and Jackson Hole got together and offered up two days at each of its resorts, plus discounts, for $349. For next season, the price will remain at $349 for a limited pre-season sale, which starts today. The pass includes two free days at each of the seven resorts, plus a 50% discount on all additional days with no blackout dates. Passholders will also receive exclusive lodging deals. Not be outdone, Vail Resorts (VR) released its pass products for the coming season and the big news is the addition of Eldora Mountain Resort to its Epic Pass, good at any of VR's eight resorts (Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapaho Basin, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood) and Eldora. The basic Epic Pass pricing is $689 for adults and $359 for kids (ages 5-12). The Pass also includes five days at Swiss resort Verbier, up from three days last year. Also new this year, VR is offering the Keystone A-Basin Pass, which features unlimited access to two of the closest mountain resorts to the Front Range, for $279 for adults and $199 for kids.
