SAM Magazine--March 22, 2013--Thanks to improved snow conditions in January and February, skier visits among Colorado Ski Country USA's (CSCUSA) 21 member resorts partially rebounded from an early-season deficit, increasing 1.3 percent over the two months, compared to the same two months last year. From opening through December 31, 2012, CSCUSA resorts dropped 11.5 percent from the same period the season before. For the 2012-13 season to date (through February 29, 2013), CSCUSA member resorts are down a total of 4.2 percent compared to the same period last year.

As spring conditions shaped up nicely during the month of March, and with spring break and Easter weekend yet to come, Colorado resorts still have plenty of season left.
