SAM Magazine—Park City, Utah, Aug. 15, 2014—Today, on the day their mediation effort was to end, Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR) and Talisker Land Holdings asked Third District Court judge Ryan Harris to extend the mediation deadline by nine days. The request to judge Harris was made in the form of a joint letter from the lead attorneys for both sides, Alan Sullivan for PCMR and John Lund for Talisker.

The letter said that the two sides “continue to work in good faith with the mediator,” and wish to continue the mediation process through Aug. 24. That's just a few days prior to an important Aug. 27 court date, at which judge Harris is scheduled to rule on the future of his stay of PCMR's eviction order.
