SAM Magazine–Donnelly, Idaho, July 2, 2015–Tamarack Resort will restart its mountain bike operation, which hasn't been running since 2007, on July 4. But instead of providing uphill access via chairlift, Tamarack will offer a shuttle service and bike rentals. The services will begin July 4.

The 10-passenger shuttle will run from the base-area Sports Dome to mid-mountain, offering riders a 1,800 vertical foot descent. Riders can take as many laps as they'd like. Shuttles will run Saturdays and Sundays through Labor Day. Bike rentals, for both downhill and cross-country, will also be available. Brad Larsen, Tamarack's new general manager, said the shuttle service will help put Tamarack back on the mountain biking map.

In addition to mountain biking, Tamarack offers hiking trails, an 18-hole disc golf course, whitewater rafting trips, zip line tours, and a variety of new activities at the Waterfront Cabana on Lake Cascade, where guests can rent standup paddleboards, kayaks, sailboats, and powerboats.
