SAM Magazine—Teton Village, Wyo., Sept. 15, 2015—Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) has completed its new employee housing units, located in the town of Jackson. The three-building complex, which can house 94 workers, is the first of its kind for the Jackson Hole community.

“JHMR is proud to be able to provide much needed housing for seasonal employees of JHMR and other community businesses,” said JHMR president Jerry Blann. “In addition to JHMR employees, we have signed contracts with Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, Hotel Terra and Teton Mountain Lodge to house many of their employees,” he added.

The new housing units allow JHMR to meet and exceed Teton County housing requirements tied to the resort master plan. “JHMR worked diligently and thoughtfully every step of the process, and the result is well-conceived, efficient units that are practical and appealing to employees,” Blann said.

The new housing development, in West Jackson on the Powderhorn property, is convenient to shopping, restaurants and Start Bus service. The project comprises two- and three-story hybrid buildings. The floor plan is a four-bedroom design. Each unit offers a standard living/dining area, kitchen, and two full bathrooms. Each tenant has a 110 square foot bedroom and closet which lock off from the rest of the unit. In addition, there is ample storage for bikes and skis; laundry facilities are located on each floor. Units are fully furnished, and rents have been designed to meet the budgets of the seasonal employee, according to the resort.
