The new location complements Silverton's Colorado operation.

The new location complements Silverton's Colorado operation.

“El Gordo [El Niño's fat cousin] continues to deliver early snow with 2,000-foot-vertical October powder runs. Great day to be a ski guide and working on our newest Seward offerings. … If it's this good in October, December should be pretty epic!” said a statement published on the SMG Alaska Heli Facebook page. That last thought is a reference to the fact that SMG's operation at Seward will open to the general public in December.
