Push to The Latest: No

mountain collectiveSAM Magazine—Queenstown, New Zealand, March 1, 2016—Jet-setting Mountain Collective pass holders can now add New Zealand to the list of possible destinations next season, thanks to the addition of Coronet Peak and The Remarkables to the multi-destination pass starting in 2016-17. New Zealand is the fourth country to be included on the pass.

While the two resorts have been added to the Mountain Collective, they are considered one “destination.” Therefore, the Collective pass provides holders with a two-day ticket valid at either resort, plus 50 percent off additional one-day tickets. The 11 other member destinations included are: Thredbo, Stowe, Taos, Sun Valley, AltaSnowbird, Aspen Snowmass, Ski Banff-Lake Louise-Sunshine Village, Jackson Hole, Mammoth Mountain, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, and Whistler Blackcomb.

As March begins, resorts are beginning to announce their season pass products for next season. Traditionally, spring is when these products are offered at the lowest prices of the year, and also carry the most benefits. The Mountain Collective pass is no different: it is currently going for $379, but only for a limited time and at limited quantities. During this limited time, kids 12 and under Mountain Collective passes are $1 when purchased with an adult pass.
