SAM Magazine—Bend, Ore., May 11, 2016—Powdr has appointed John McLeod as president and general manager of Mt. Bachelor, Ore. A longtime Bend resident, McLeod served as

director of finance and business development at Mt. Bachelor from 2005 to 2011, and then returned in 2015 to reprise his role as director of finance. McLeod had been serving as interim GM of the resort since Dave Rathbun's departure in March.

“We are excited that John has accepted the position of president and general manager of Mt. Bachelor. John has a great deal of experience both inside and outside of our industry that will serve him well as the new leader of the resort,” said COO/EVP of Powdr Resorts Tim Brennwald.
