SAM Magazine—Park City, Utah, Oct. 3, 2016—SnowSports Industries America (SIA) has made some big moves as of late—both physically and organizationally. The move from its office outside WashingtonSIAlogo emailsize D.C. to its new home in Park City is complete, and the non-profit trade association recently added four new staff members.

Maria McNulty is now SIA's chief operating officer. She is responsible for overseeing strategy development, procurement of new opportunities, and bolstering the overall value that SIA delivers back to the industry. McNulty has more than 20 years of experience, including stints with Street League Skateboarding and Burton Snowboards. She was also on the organizing committees for the Vancouver and Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games and TTR Pro Snowboarding.

New director of member services Kyle Kennedy is tasked with developing tools and programs that deliver benefit to SIA's members. His background includes publishing, media, and sales, having worked with Academy Snowboards and as publisher of Snowboarder Magazine.

Todd Walton will lead the strategy and creative direction for SIA's internal and external communications, social media, content and marketing as SIA's director communications and marketing. Walton comes to SIA with more than 25 years in the snow sports, outdoor and lifestyle industries.

Jo Gabrielson is now the accounting and human resources manager. A lover of the outdoors, Gabrielson brings ten years of experience in HR and management to her new role at SIA.

“With the team now in place and the new Park City office up and running, the energy and excitement is palpable,” says Nick Sargent, president of SIA. “The breadth of knowledge, passion and experience we have across our entire team enables us to be nimble and member-focused to lead the industry through our next phases. It's a new time for us and it's exciting.”
