New Peak Discovery Learn-to Program
SAM Magazine—Wildwood, Mo., Nov. 17, 2017—Peak Resorts has unveiled a new program aimed at making learning to ski or ride more affordable and accessible. The Peak Discovery Program, valid for ages 13 and older, includes three visits complete with a group lesson, equipment rental and helmet, and a lift ticket at any combination of the company’s Northeast resorts, for just $99. Those resorts include Attitash, Wildcat, and Crotched, N.H., Mount Snow, Vt., Hunter Mountain, N.Y., and Jack Frost Big Boulder, Pa.
“Our award-winning learning experience coupled with our convenient locations across multiple metropolitan areas offers a unique opportunity for the new skier/snowboarder. Our goal is to introduce people to a sport that they and their families can enjoy for a lifetime,” said Hunter Mountain VP and GM Russ Coloton, who spearheaded the program.
Once a guest “graduates” from the three-lesson program, he or she will have an opportunity to add three additional visits to their card for $99 more.
“We want to remove as many barriers as possible to those wishing to try our sport,” added Coloton. “That includes not only the cost, but accessibility and convenience, too.”
The program is now available for purchase on all Peak Resorts websites and at the resorts themselves for $99, until Dec. 24, 2017. After that prices increase to $139.
