SAM Magazine-Incline Village, Nev., Oct. 5, 2011-Diamond Peak Ski Resort has named Brad Wilson as its new general manager, effective Nov. 1. Wilson returns to the ski industry after a stint with California's Catalina Island Resort, where he was COO.
Wilson is very familiar with the Lake Tahoe ski resort market, having worked at both Alpine Meadows and Heavenly. He has also served in the industry at Mountain High, Sugarbush, Brian Head, and Bear Mountain.
"We are extremely excited to have attracted someone like Brad to our resort. He brings a wealth of knowledge far beyond what we expected when we started our search for a new resort manager. His experience on Catalina Island, and the broad range of ski experience he has, will be invaluable," said Bill Horn, general manager of Incline Village, of which Diamond Peak is a part.
"I am thrilled to be joining the Diamond Peak management team," Wilson said. "I look forward to helping with the continued success of the resort." \
