AT KEYSTONE, VACATIONING KIDS ALWAYS SKI FREE
SAM Magazine—Keystone, Colo., Oct. 4, 2012—Keystone Resort is taking kid-friendly programming to new heights: throughout the entire 2012-2013 winter season, children 12 and under will ski/snowboard for free at Keystone, so long as their families stay two or more nights in one of Keystone’s owned and operated accommodations.
If the accommodations condition is met, the program has no blackout dates and is available on all weekends and holidays. There are no restrictions on the number of children per adult. Reservations must be booked through the Keystone website or its toll-free reservations line. Families can choose from a range of accommodations, including a hotel room or a condominium.
"With the introduction of a Kids Ski Free offer that's really restriction-free, we're letting families travel as their schedule allows, granting them convenient and affordable access to our world-class resort and taking Keystone's commitment to families to the next level," said John Buhler, vice president and general manager of Keystone Resort.
On the mountain, the kids’ programming includes a renewed focus on progression. New for winter 2012-2013, Keystone is offering a Burton Riglet Park, and board rentals will be offered for snowboarders ages three to six. Keystone's A-51 Terrain Park is also a adding a new level of progression features.
Off the slopes, Keystone has expanded its Kidtopia program to include daily animation and entertainment all winter long. Activities and events range from the self-proclaimed “world's largest snowfort” to street performers and on-ice dance parties at the resort's two ice skating rinks.
