USSA Athletes Win Three ESPY Awards

SAM Magazine—Los Angeles, July 17, 2014—U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) Olympic snowboard slopestyle gold medalists Jamie Anderson and Sage Kotsenburg won three 2014 ESPY Awards last night. Anderson was named Best Female Action Sports Athlete and Best Female U.S. Olympian, while Kotsenburg was chosen as Best Male U.S. Olympian.

The USSA was the most represented sports organization at the Awards, with nine Olympic athletes nominated in five categories. Sochi Olympians Mikaela Shiffrin, David Wise, Maddie Bowman, Kelly Clark, Kaitlyn Farrington, Joss Christensen, and Ted Ligety also received nominations.
