Highland Mountain Bike Park, formally Highland Ski Area, was purchased by businessman Mark Hayes in 2003. He renovated the 200-acre area into a state-of-the-art, lift-serviced mountain biking facility with a 9,100-square-foot indoor training center and a rental and repair shop.

SAM Magazine partnered with Jiminy Peak Resort in Hancock, MA to present the 2nd annual Summer Ops Camp for mountain resort operators.

The Warrior Dash Race attracted off-the-chart attendance numbers for the two-day event. 18,600 racers tackled a very muddy, 3.5-mile obstacle course, with waves of 600 racers starting every 30 minutes.
