SAM Magazine—Silverton, Colo., July 21, 2017—As Silverton Mountain begins its 16th year, the resort has teamed with six other ski areas that will give Silverton silverton esizepassholders 20 days of free skiing during the 2017-18 ski season.

The new partners include Powder Mountain, Utah, Red Lodge, Mont., Homewood, Calif., Snow King, Wyo., and both Sunlight and Powderhorn, Colo. Each will provide three days of free skiing to Silverton Mountain passholders with certain blackout dates; Powderhorn is providing five free days.

Silverton’s $149 (purchased prior to Sept. 1) spring-season Unguided Season Pass includes the spring unguided season, plus an exclusive private day at Silverton Mountain on Mar. 29, along with half-price heli skiing and $89 guided skiing (space available), and discounts on premium draft beers throughout the season.

The $499 (early purchase) Solid Gold Pass includes all the benefits of the Unguided Pass, plus 10 days of guided skiing in December or January, and—new for 2017-18—guided skiing on Feb. 4 and 11, and Mar. 11, 18, and 25.

Silverton Mountain’s ski season runs Dec. 28 through Apr. 8. Guided-only operations run through Mar. 25. Silverton Mountain will be open Thursdays through Sundays during the entire guided season.
