SAM Magazine—Snowbasin, Utah, April 20, 2018—Snowbasin Resort appointed Davy Ratchford as its new GM effective May 2018. Ratchford will succeed retiring GM John Loomis.

Ratchford has most recently served as senior director of marketing and strategic alliance at Park City Mountain and was previously the director of marketing at Vail Mountain, Colo., and Northstar Resort, Calif. Throughout his career Ratchford has specialized in driving business results, elevating the guest experience, and cultivating community engagement. Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, he attended the University of Utah. HNRatchford
