SAM Magazine—Natick, Mass., Jan. 21, 2020—The nomination period for the 2020 SAMMY Leadership Awards is now open. SAM invites members of the winter sports industry to nominate leaders who they believe deserve recognition. Nominations close March 13, 2020. The SAMMY Leadership Awards honor individuals who, at mid-career, demonstrate the innovation, leadership, dedication, professionalism, and creativity to lead the mountain resort industry into the future. What makes this award truly special is that the candidates are nominated by you, their industry peers.

“Some of the most influential and inspiring leaders in our industry have been nominated by their peers and honored with SAMMY Awards for the past 22 years, and we look forward to recognizing a small group of outstanding individuals again this year," said SAM publisher Olivia Rowan.

The winners of the 2020 SAMMY Leadership Awards will be profiled online and in the May issue of SAM. They will be honored in a ceremony during the NSAA National Convention and Trade Show in Amelia Island, Fla.
