SAM Magazine—Bretton Woods, N.H., July 21, 2026—Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa has appointed Jace Wirth as general manager of Bretton Woods Ski Area, where he will oversee year-round operations, including mountain operations, guest experience, community relations, and long-term strategic growth.

Wirth brings nearly 20 years of mountain resort leadership experience to the role, most recently serving as general manager of New Hampshire’s Cannon Mountain and Franconia Notch State Park. During his tenure at Cannon, he led the ski area to record visitation, advanced the state's planned $30 million aerial tramway replacement project, and developed a $50 million long-term capital improvement plan.

Prior to Cannon, Wirth served as chief operating officer of Alaska Shore Tours and general manager of Granby Ranch, Colo. Earlier in his career, he held a leadership role at Genting Resort Secret Garden in China, where he helped prepare the resort for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

With 464 skiable acres, Bretton Woods is New Hampshire's largest ski area and part of the Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa. Wirth joins the resort as Omni continues investing in the property's evolution as a four-season destination.

Earlier this year, Omni announced an extensive property-wide renovation of the Mount Washington Resort, building on previous investments that include upgrades to the historic hotel, conference center, spa, golf facilities, and other amenities.
