General manager of Jack Frost and Big Boulder in Pennsylvania.

Best Day/Worst Day/Most Memorable in the business?

There are not very many bad days, and tons of good ones. It’s hard to pick just one.

Who was/is a memorable mentor?

My parents, Tim and Missi, are both “ski business” veterans. I’ve learned the most from them, and they have supported me throughout the best and worst times. There are so many great people that work in this industry that I have been blessed to learn from.

Did you ever almost leave the industry, and why? Why did you stay?

No, I’ve never wanted to do anything else. Not ever.

If you could work in another industry doing something completely different, what would it be?

Most likely some type of construction.

When was the last time you actually purchased a lift ticket?

Last season in North Carolina.

How many days do you go without washing your ski / snowboard socks?

I’m pretty good on socks, but my ski pants and coat are a different story.

What’s the last thing you searched in Google?

Carinthia Parks.

Guilty pleasure?

Fantasy Football? It’s not normally a pleasure though…

Where do you keep your SAMMY Award?

My office at Mount Snow, Vermont.

Thoughts on the future?

Cold winters and powder turns.
