The newly expanded SAM Summit Series: Rising Leader Program brings leadership development into the realities of mountain resort life. Created in partnership with Lex Curtis of Field of Play Consulting, the program digs into what it takes to lead while managing seasonal teams, working across departments, navigating shifting conditions and priorities, and balancing the people and operational demands that come with running a mountain resort.
Designed around the rhythm of the mountain resort season, the program focuses on the leadership skills that matter at each stage—from building strong teams and setting the tone in the fall to sustaining performance, developing others, and finishing strong in the spring. Participants will strengthen practical leadership skills they can put to work right away while learning from people who understand the realities of resort work.
The expanded program builds on eight years of the Summit Series mentor/mentee program, carrying forward the mentorship and industry connection at its core while offering emerging leaders a more robust leadership development experience.
