Summer Ops Camp is a three-day, all-inclusive program designed for attendees to experience summer attractions and activities as our customers do while exploring new business opportunities with fellow operators and experts. 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Field trips to CLIMBworks for ziplining and QuietKat e-bike mountain biking. Sign ups available to registered campers.
4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Session at Margaritaville - Connectivity and the New Era of Customer Experience with Claire Humber and Mike Kane, SE Group
5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Vendor cocktail and dinner reception at Margaritaville
8:00 p.m.: Nightime Walltopia zip coaster and Wiegand alpine mountain coaster at Rowdy Bear Mountain Adventure Park
9:00 p.m.: Gatlinburg at night - music, activities and more.
Wednesday, September 4
7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Breakfast at Anakeesta
8:45 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Session at Anakeesta - Magic in the Mountains: Master Planning with Anakeesta owners
9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Interactive Tours and Activities at Anakeesta with Beanstalk, Brandauer, Sandy Creek Mining and Anakeesta staff.
11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Lunch, sessions and demo activities at Ober Gatlinburg.
12:45 p.m. - 1:45 p.m: Session - Get Your Ride On with Gravity Logic, QuietKat, and others
1:45 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.: Session - Hottest Trends and Latest Incident Data in Summer Risk with Tim Bruce and Justin Guth, Safehold, Cameron Annas, Granite Insurance
2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.: Demo Break with Glice, ADG, Innova, RCI, and Neveplast
3:30 p.m - 4:30 p.m.: Session - How to Create True Differentiation with Paula Rea, Solidarity of Unbridled Labour
5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.: BBQ, beers and whiskey tastings at the Boyne SkyLift Park and new SkyBridge
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Presenting North America's Longest Pedestrian Suspension Bridge with SkyPark GM and ERI.

Thursday, September 5
7:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.: Breakfast in the Vendor Lounge at Margaritaville
10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Session, show, lunch and demos at Lumber Jack Feud in Pigeon Forge.
11:45 am - 1:30 pm: Session - Operating in Gatlinburg with Nick Thompson of CLIMBworks, Anakeesta and Lumber Jack Feud
2:00pm: Optional off-site activities: Six coaster tour with Wiegand, or tour of the Wilderness in the Smokies Indoor/Outdoor Water Park Resort in Sevierville with ADG, discounted tickets to Dollywood and Smoky Mountain Rafting. Detail and sign-ups available to to registered campers.
Pricing and Travel
Packages are all-inclusive of two nights of lodging at Margaritaville Gatlinburg, all meals, sessions, workshops, outdoor demos, drink tickets, a welcome bag and off-site tours. All package prices are per person. Prices will increase July 1, 2019.
Early bird package pricing for Summer Ops Camp 2019 in Gatlinburg is as follows:
- $775 single package ($815 after June 30)
- $660 double package, per person ($685 after June 30)
- $525, local, non-lodging package ($550 after June 30)
If you're not within driving distance to Gatlinburg we recommend air travel to McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, which is about an hour drive from Gatlinburg. A taxi, Lyft or Uber from the airport will cost about $40-$50, and there are rental options if you plan to explore more of the surrounding area before or after camp.
