New to the North American market, ARENA SlopeManagement is a geospatial software application that combines snow measurement data, snowmaking control system data, and weather data to provide ski resorts with real-time feedback on where to groom, where to make snow, and how a ski area is performing against its master snow plan. It can also produce details such as snow density and the amount of water used per hydrant and/or section of trail. The software is compatible with all snow groomers and utilizes a state-of-the-art smart antenna that allows for accurate snow-depth measurements down to the centimeter. Readings can be displayed in the ARENA SlopeManagement virtual control center or directly in the snowcat, allowing the operator to recognize shortages and surpluses of snow in real-time.
