Food keeper
This two-bulb, free-standing heat lamp is available in a satin or gold finish, with bulb or flared-shaped shades. These lamps, the manufacturer reports, will keep any number of food items at the correct serving temperature. A protective shelf is supplied with the base. Right on track
Una-Track is a continuous track device designed to convert any four-wheel-drive vehicle into an all-weather, all-season unit capable of maneuvering in snow, mud and sand. The unit, consisting of a standard snowmobile track and three cogs around which it rotates, fits on a vehicle’s existing axles. A set of four costs $2,800. Crash cure
This safety pad, designed to reduce injuries of straying skiers, can be wrapped around a hazardous tree, tower or pole. The pad comes in two versions. The standard model is made of high-density poly-bonded foam rubber covered with vinyl-coated nylon. It is lightweight, has tie loops on the sides and top for easy installation, and sells for $16.
The deluxe tower safety pad has double-thickness foam rubber padding, heavy-duty vinyl coating and nylon web straps for installation. It costs $28. Both pads come in yellow, green, red or blue.

Track packer
Ski touring trail maintenance problems can now be handled with the Track-Pack Snow Grader. This machine levels, packs and smooths bumps, holes and ruts on worn trails with its adjustable blade system. The Track-Pack weighs about 70 pounds and can be easily towed, even with a lightweight snowmobile. In blue and yellow for high visibility, the trail grader sells for $297.50. Toboggan tarp
A new combination toboggan insert and tarp reduces jolts to transported injured skiers and wrap-over flaps give the victim extra warmth and security. The pad is made of high density, one-inch polyfoam for insulation and is covered with a nylon-reinforced vinyl material that reportedly will not absorb water or freeze. The pad fits all toboggans and velcro straps hold the overwraps in place. In yellow, it is priced to sell for about $19.

Portable safety kit
The Sav-A-Life Safety Oxygen kit, complete with a breathing mask that can be either self-operated or operated by another, contains approximately an half-hour supply of oxygen.
