SAM Magazine-Avon, Colo., January 21, 2009 -SkiData AG, a provider of RFID access controls, has acquired a 25 percent ownership in Resort Technology Partners, LLC (RTP), a major provider of integrated point-of-sale and Internet software for the resort, recreation, and attractions industries.

The investment will strengthen and expand the existing business partnership between SkiData and RTP, supporting SkiData's expansion in the North American ski and leisure market, as well as broaden RTP's international potential, officials of both companies indicate.

This partnership "will enhance both companies' ability to deliver the most comprehensive solutions in the resort and recreation industry," said Charlie L'Esperance, president and CEO of RTP. "The combined strength of SKIDATA and RTP will provide both companies the ability to develop, market, deliver and support these solutions on global basis." \
