In Vermont, sometime rivals Mount Snow and Stratton have formed a new partnership that offers 18- to 26-year-old skiers and snowboarders an unrestricted Double Down Pass ( $349). The trio of Boyne-owned resorts, Loon, Sugarloaf, and Sunday River, have priced their New England Passes, and the options include an unrestricted College Pass ($349) and Graduate Pass ($736). These various passes will compete with the 4.0 The College Pass ($369), good at Killington, Pico, Okemo, and Sunapee, which debuted last month.

Mount Snow and Stratton each offer single-resort season passes for 20-somethings with no blackout dates for an affordable price. Now, for a small increase in price, these coveted guests can gain access to both resorts on the same pass. Anyone ages 18 to 26 is eligible to purchase the Double Down; no college ID is necessary.

The options for the New England Pass are not limited to collegians and 20-somethings, but span all ages. They range from the midweek, non-holiday Bronze Pass ($459) to the unrestricted Gold Pass ($1055). All New England Passes offer a variety of discounts, from lodging deals and savings on tuning and ziplining to free or discounted lift tickets at Boyne Resorts' western mountains.
