SAM Magazine-Wildwood, Mo., Feb. 24, 2012-Peak Resorts plans to spend $2 million on a variety of improvements at Hidden Valley ski area for the 2012-13 season. Hidden Valley plans to expand skiable terrain by 30 percent, including a new 2,000 foot-long run that will be the resort's longest; blanket the new terrain with snowmaking; and add a quad chairlift to supplement the resort's existing lifts. Off the slopes, Hidden Valley is investing $500,000 to expand the dining area, which will also get a new menu. \
