SAM Magazine-Bend, Ore. June 16, 2011-The July 4 weekend will see several areas open this year, and some are planning to take the novelty up a notch. Mt. The first 250 skiers and snowboarders purchasing tickets each day will receive a commemorative T-shirt celebrating skiing and snowboarding over the July 4th Holiday.

Squaw Valley will be hosting a jam-packed 4th of July weekend, with summer skiing and riding, concerts, barbeques and pool parties. Squaw received 810 inches of snow this season, and currently boasts a 14-foot base.
