SAM Magazine--June 13, 2011--After failing to appear in court for the second time, majority owner of Tamarack, Jean-Pierre Boespflug, was found in contempt by an Idaho judge. According to cnbc.com, Boespflug was ordered to appear in state court after missing a hearing in May and as a result of his second no-show, the judge ordered his arrest and started the clock on fines of $5,000 a day until he shows up and turns over requested financial documents.

Boespflug's troubles do not end there. A $250 million construction loan to Crédit Suisse remains unpaid and he was also ordered to pay $4.9 million to Bank of America's leasing department for chairlifts he personally guaranteed.

The whereabouts of Boespflug are unknown and rumors abound as to whether he will return to Idaho to deal with the bankruptcy proceedings of Tamarack, as well as face his warrant.
