SAM Magazine — Broomfield, Colo., Nov. 5, 2014 — Vail Resorts, Inc. today announced that Patricia Campbell, executive VP and COO of Breckenridge Ski Resort, will become president of the company's mountain division effective Aug. 1, 2015.

SAM Magazine — Broomfield, Colo., Nov. 5, 2014 — Vail Resorts, Inc. today announced that Patricia Campbell, executive VP and COO of Breckenridge Ski Resort, will become president of the company's mountain division effective Aug. 1, 2015.

At that time, Blaise Carrig, current mountain division president, will step down but remain with the company full-time role as a senior mountain advisor until he retires in 2017. Carrig, 63, joined Vail Resorts in 2002 as chief operating officer of Heavenly Mountain Resort and became president of the mountain division in 2008.

Campbell, 51, has been the COO at Breckenridge since 2009 and has also overseen operations at Keystone Resort since 2011. Prior to her current role, Campbell was COO of Keystone for three years.

The company also announced that John Buhler, current COO of Keystone Resort, will become COO at Breckenridge, and Mike Goar, current general manager of Canyons, will become COO of Keystone. These changes are also effective Aug. 1, 2015.

Buhler became VP and GM of Keystone in 2010 and then VP and COO in 2013. Goar began his career at Sunrise Ski Resort in Arizona. He has 38 years of ski resort industry experience, and most recently directed $37 million in on-mountain capital improvements including new lifts, snowmaking, restaurants and ski terrain at Canyons.
