SAM Magazine--Utah, August 8, 2013--On the heels of the annoucement by Alta, Snowbird, Deer Valley and Park City that each of their season pass holders can enjoy priveleges at any of the four areas, Brighton Resort and Solitude teamed up to offer the Big Cottonwood Pass for $999. The joint pass is valid at both resorts with no blackout dates. The two areas are connected by the SolBright trail.

Canyons Resort, which is now leased by Vail, today announced that it is joining the Epic Pass family. The Epic Local Pass offers unlimited days with holiday restrictions at Canyons for $529, compared to last season's pass at $849. For Utah college students, teens and kids, the Canyons Youth Pass, with unlimited access, will go for $429, $299 and $259 respectively. Finally, the Epic Pass, sold for $689 for adults and $359 for kids between 5 and 12, offers unlimited access to all twelve of Vail's resorts, plus five free days at five areas in Europe.
