“Tower Check” is a tower loading and computer-based lift analysis program that can be combined with their in-house survey and CAD systems in any combination that suits the client. “Pipe Check” provides a similar service analyzing and plotting existing snowmaking installations.
The Ski Directory
The Ski Directory was developed to provide ski resorts with a visual display and communications system. A custom system can be developed from concept to installation within 40-60 days. The Ski Directory incorporates touch-screens, interactive video systems, all linked to self-automated software.
Features include a wide menu of capabilities, including among others: electronic message center, touch screen directory, ticket generation, computer-generated trail maps, and a capacity to feature promotional material.
Sno-engineering
Sno-engineering utilizes the latest CAD equipment and imaging tools to provide definitive planning solutions. Using Digital Terrain Models as a basis for the ski area design process, Sno-engineering produces a series of critical land analysis including slope, solar aspect and elevation. Also, wetlands and wildlife habitats can be delineated creating a series of overlays identifying environmentally sensitive areas. These analyses assist mountain planners in the placement of lifts, trails and facilities in a resort master plan.
Correction:
The description of the Delta Information Services System was based on outdated and incomplete information. Due to expansion of many facets of the system, the Cannon TX-50 is no longer used, and the system is now totally PC-run. Among the expansions are packages for Group Sales and reservations, Passholder Registration and Tracking, as well as Kids Kamp, a day-camp/day-care reservations module. Also new is the development and institution of lift access controls using both bar code and proximity scanning technologies.
