SAM Magazine—Denver, March 7, 2024—The 2024-25 Ikon Pass suite goes on sale March 14, with 58 destinations and a handful of new benefits. The company has bumped up prices, with the unrestricted Ikon Pass retailing for $1,249 (compared to $1,159 last year) and the Ikon Base Pass on sale for $869 (up from $829 last year). 

The two- to four-day Session Pass will start at $259, same as last year. And the Ikon Base Pass Plus, which has blackout dates but offers access to 57 destinations compared to the 50 destinations available on the Base Pass, will go for $1,119. 

Access to Crystal Mountain, Wash., has expanded for next year and will now be unlimited for full Ikon Pass holders. Several destinations still require reservations regardless of pass tier. These include Aspen Snowmass, Colo., Big Sky, Mont., Deer Valley, Utah, Jackson Hole, Wyo., Loon Mountain, N.H., Summit at Snoqualmie, Wash., and the newly rebranded Windham Mountain Club, N.Y. 

Ikon is once again offering a renewal discount ($100) to current passholders as well as up to $200 off on child passes with the purchase of an adult pass. New 2024-25 Ikon Pass and Base Pass purchasers will again receive access this spring to Alterra-owned resorts, with varying start dates and restrictions.

Among the new perks this year: one free bike park ticket at select destinations, including Aspen Snowmass, Revelstoke, Steamboat, Stratton, Loon, Snowshoe, Mammoth, and Kitzbühel, among others; a CAD$200 a day credit for any CMH heli-skiing experience; and a variety of discounts on offerings such as stays at Under Canvas outdoor destinations, enrollment in Woodward Summer Camp programs, and a number of retail purchases.

In addition, a portion of every 2024-25 Ikon Pass purchased will help fund mental health initiatives in mountain communities.
