SAM Magazine—Montville, N.J., Aug. 18, 2025—A new multi-mountain ski and snowboard product, the Snow Triple Play, will go on sale Sept. 1, offering Northeast skiers and snowboarders three days of lift access at 15 participating resorts in the U.S. and Canada for $199.99.
“We recognized that there’s a significant portion of the skiing and snowboarding population that loves the sport but doesn’t ski frequently enough to justify a full season pass,” said Triple Play COO Dave Belin. “The Snow Triple Play bridges that gap, offering substantial savings while giving skiers the flexibility to explore different mountains throughout the region.”
The pass allows up to two days of skiing or riding at any single mountain, with a maximum of three days total. Participating ski areas include Whiteface, Gore, Belleayre, Oak, and Plattekill in New York; Mountain Creek and Big SNOW in New Jersey; Mount Southington in Connecticut; Ski Butternut in Massachusetts; Pleasant Mountain in Maine; four Les Sommets resorts in Quebec; and Ski Martock in Nova Scotia.
Creator Joe Hession of Snow Partners first outlined the concept earlier this year as a way to connect independent ski areas under a single, affordable product that could attract casual participants and convert them into more frequent visitors. Hession also emphasized simplicity (three days, one price, limited black out dates, and restrictions may apply by area) as a way to reduce purchase barriers.
Sales will run through Dec. 24, 2025, with the first 1,000 buyers to receive $30 off the standard price.
