The End Page

In the most recent issue of the Midwest Ski Area News, a lively newsletter for the members of the Midwest Ski Areas Association, we found a report on Perfect North Slopes, Ind., that caught our eye. We quote:

“First in the Midwest. . .a new Pisten Bully Wench-Cat for better grooming of steep terrain.”

Hmmm, a wench known for better grooming. That is a first.

Where on Earth is Fabio?

It seems that Fabio has taken an interest in the wintersports world since his fall as the world’s hottest Italian supermodel. This was first discovered at the Cutters Camp in Timberline, Ore., where he sat (stood) in on the litigation and risk management panel. It seems he has some expertise in this area after his nose was broken by a bird on a roller coaster.

Fabio also agreed to pose with the publisher of SAM and Acordia’s Jerri Tranquilli. It was during this session that he secured employment with Acordia.

His title is unclear, as yet, but he will be traveling around with Ms. Tranquilli and we will follow his travels on this page. Should he end up at your resort, don’t worry, the chains are for effect only. And you might want to lend him a fleece during the winter months. No hat, though, it ruins his hair.
