SAM Magazine—Woodbury, Conn., April 8, 2013—The 13th annual SAM Magazine Cutter's Camp West session at Timberline, Ore., May 13-17 has filled all available slots. “We urge would-be campers to get on the waiting list as soon as possible” by sending an email to liz@saminfo.com, said SAM publisher Olivia Rowan.

Cutter's West includes on-hill park building workshops and a grooming machine demo with the latest models of vehicles along with a full slate of indoor sessions and workshops. Highlights from the program include an opening night “fireside chat” with leaders from the freestyle terrain industry, a hands-on terrain based learning session, and an on-hill practicum applying the latest updates from the Terrain Park Notebook. Other sessions address daily maintenance procedures, interdepartmental communication, park flow and design, feature construction, social media, events and competitions, and risk management, among others. Cutter's Camp East previewed the indoor sessions last week, April 1-3 at Mount Snow, Vt., where more than 50 participants attended executive-oriented sessions.
