Credit, Peter Landsman, Liftblog.comDoppelmayr Group worldwide sales revenue totaled 1.3 billion euros (roughly $1.5 billion) for the 2025-26 fiscal year (April 1, 2025–March 31, 2026), up 9.1 percent compared to the previous fiscal year. Growth was driven in part by major international projects and strong core markets of Austria and the United States, according to the company’s annual report.
Ropeway installations serving ski areas, urban transport, and year-round tourism were all part of the mix. The report cited the urban ropeway in Paris, the Campitello–Col Rodella installation in Italy, the Big Sky Explorer Gondola (Big Sky Resort, Mont.), and East Village Express Gondola (Deer Valley, Utah) in the United States, and the first TRI-Line installation in Hoch-Ybrig, Switzerland, as notable projects during the past fiscal year.
“Despite geopolitical challenges and a demanding market environment, the company maintained its strong position in international markets,” the report said.
The company also expanded its workforce by 5.4 percent in 2025-26 to 3,987 employees. “The Doppelmayr Group’s success is built on the people who contribute their knowledge and experience on a daily basis,” said Doppelmayr Group executive board member Gerhard Gassner.
Looking ahead, Doppelmayr plans to continue development of AI technologies and other digitalization for its ropeways. The company said international market conditions “remain challenging,” but “considers itself well equipped for the future.”
