Calling Paige friends
A very remarkable couple (Charles) Marion and Ruth Paige, now residing in Mesa, Ariz., will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Oct. 25, 1973. So what? In their working years Marion was a builder of ski lifts, mine and logging tramways throughout the west and Canada’s eastern mountains. At one time he was one of the country’s leading and best cable-splicers and designer of a children’s chair lift. Most times Ruth worked as a cook etc. so they could be together, sometimes in makeshift quarters. They are truly wonderful people, and we’re hoping to hear from some of those who once worked with them, as an anniversary surprise.
