SAM Magazine—Granby, Colo., Sept. 16, 2025—Indy Pass will end sales for the 2025-26 season at midnight on Thursday, Sept. 18, the company said today. With the cap reached, this will be the final sales window of the year.Indy Pass

“We’re not going to compromise the sport and culture of independent skiing by prioritizing profit over our passholders,” said Indy Pass managing director Erik Mogensen. “We need to safeguard the welcoming and uncrowded on-mountain experiences they offer. That’s why it’s going off sale Thursday.”

Since last winter, Indy has added 48 resorts across 14 countries. The latest additions include Donner Ski Ranch, Calif.; Montage Mountain, Pa.; Magic Mountain, Idaho; Leavenworth Ski Hill, Wash.; Kaunertaler Gletscher, Austria; and Kartalkaya Dorukkaya Ski Resort, Turkey.

Indy’s Learn to Turn program has also expanded to 39 participating resorts, with eight more joining in the past two weeks, including Marquette Mountain, Mich., Sunlight, Colo., and Swain, N.Y. The entry-level pass will remain available through December.

Further, Indy will conclude its License Plate Club promotion, launched earlier this summer, which awarded nearly 500 free passes to fans who registered custom “Indy Pass” license plates across 41 U.S. states and Canadian provinces.

“This program exploded way bigger than we expected,” said Mogensen, adding that Indy was grateful for its dedicated pass holders and remained “focused on our shared vision to support the independent side of skiing.”
