ELECTRICIAN — FULL-TIME, YEAR-ROUND

Ski Santa Fe is seeking an Experienced Lift Electrician to join our year-round mountain operations team. This full-time position offers competitive pay (up to $55/hour BOE) and excellent benefits. Located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, our base lodge sits at 10,350 ft, with a summit elevation of 12,075 ft. Work takes place indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Position Overview

The Electrician supports daily operations by maintaining, installing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems throughout the ski area. Candidates should have 5+ years’ experience as a lift electrician. The ideal candidate will have lift electric maintenance and troubleshooting as well as knowledge of snowmaking power distribution and drive systems, meaning both strong low-voltage experience and a solid understanding of high-voltage systems. An electrical license is not required but preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshooting, and repair electrical systems and components across the ski area
• Maintain lift systems, facilities, lighting, snowmaking equipment, and infrastructure
• Perform low-voltage work including controls, communications, and system wiring
• Support high-voltage maintenance under team direction
• Collaborate closely with the Mountain Operations and Maintenance teams

Qualifications

• 5 plus years’ experience
• Strong low-voltage background (controls, sensors, communications systems)
• Solid understanding of high-voltage systems
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
• Comfort working at heights and high elevation
• Industrial, commercial, or ski industry experience
• Must be able to pass a background check
